ASAD began with a simple question: how could analytical testing become more portable and accessible? Our first device explored that question in veterinary use. The experience shaped the technology, but also prompted us to look carefully at where it could make the greatest practical difference.
01 / Our veterinary beginnings
The first version brought analytical functions into a compact system. Veterinary applications were our initial focus, giving us a starting point for combining sample handling, measurement, and a smartphone-based experience.

02 / A clearer focus on farmers
As we evaluated the market and the needs of potential users, our direction changed. Farmers need to understand their soil where they work. We shifted our focus to agriculture and reshaped the product around portable soil testing.
This meant bringing preparation and analysis into one carrying case, with a workflow centred on nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and pH.

03 / The agricultural device today
The current ASAD device combines a miniature stirrer, centrifuge, and optical analyzer. Farmers can test on site with accuracy comparable to soil laboratory results and access the readings on their own phone through the ASAD apps for iOS and Android.

04 / One technology, more possibilities
Agriculture is our focus today, but the underlying analytical technology can support different uses. Our vision is to offer future versions tailored to other applications, each with a workflow suited to the people using it.
That wider vision grows from the same idea that started ASAD: bring useful testing closer to the person who needs the answer.
